Most Importantly: Parking!

If you get to the conference in time for registration, parking will be super easy for you. Just park in the main Zoo parking lot right our front!

Use Houston Zoo Entrance Five for the SchipulCon

Houston Zoo Entrance Five is to the left of the main entrance. There will be a friendly Houston Police Officer at the gate and a Schipulite to guide you!

Getting Around for out of Town Guests

Bush/Intercontinental Airport (IAH)
Distance From Hotel - 20 Miles *30 Min Drive*
Taxi Fare - $44.00 USD

Hobby Airport (HOU)
Distance From Hotel - 11 Miles *20 Min Drive*

Directions to the Houston Zoo

Notice: The city is changing the name of N MacGregor Dr. to Cambridge. Be on the lookout for street signs to be changing very soon. Google Maps and other mapping programs may not reflect the new name immediately.

Notice: The southbound exit ramp from SH288 to N MacGregor will close at 9pm Friday October 2nd. It will be closed until Thursday October 15th. The detour for N MacGregor will be to exit Southmore/Blodgett and come down the frontage rd to N MacGregor.

Driving directions from 59 or 45:

Take 59 or 45 to Highway 288 South. Exit N. MacGregor and turn right onto N. MacGregor. The road will fork once, stay to the right. Take a right at the light onto Golf Course Drive. The Houston Zoo will be located on the left.

Driving directions from 610 South:

Take 610 South to Highway 288 North. Exit N. MacGregor and turn left onto N. MacGregor. The road will fork once, stay to the right. Take a right at the light onto Golf Course Drive. The Houston Zoo will be located on the left.

Lucky us, we're welcoming the amazing Deirdre Breakenridge to Houston for SchipulCon!! Deirdre is the President of PFS Marketwyse and is the author of three Financial Times business books that focus on Public Relations 2.0. Most recently she co-authered Putting the Public Back in Public Relations with fellow PR guru, Brian Solis and she has spoken on the topic of Public Relations all over the nation.

At SchipulCon Deirdre will be dishing on the convergence of marketing and Public Relations and how they mesh with our online world. She'll also talk about how to facilitate conversations in this crazy new "Social Media" landscape using applications like as Facebook, Twitter and blogging.
